Maintenance Manager - Civil & Maritime

• $180,000 - $220,000 + Super + Car Allowance
• Office Hours: Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance planning, reliability and asset performance across a diverse fleet of specialist maritime vessels and large earthmoving equipment in a head-office role located in Brisbane.
 
This role will suit a hands-on leader with experience managing the maintenance of specialised maritime vessels and large earthmoving equipment, ideally across tugs, multicats, barges, dredgers, excavators or draglines. You will also have experience overseeing major refurbishments, dockings or large equipment overhauls.
 
The role

• Lead maintenance planning, scheduling and delivery across workshop and operational environments.
• Manage maintenance for vessels and heavy plant, ensuring assets remain safe, reliable and operational.
• Oversee major repairs, refurbishments, shutdowns and overhaul programs.
• Manage breakdown response, defect rectification and root cause analysis.
• Control budgets, procurement, contractor coordination and maintenance reporting.
• Lead and support maintenance teams to deliver strong outcomes.

About you

• Mechanical Engineering degree is highly regarded.
• Strong experience in maintenance leadership within marine, civil, mining or heavy industry.
• Proven background in naval vessel and/or large equipment maintenance.
• Experience managing major maintenance campaigns or refurbishment projects.
• Practical, organised and confident working with multiple stakeholders.
• You MUST have valid Working Rights for Australia to be considered for this position.
