• Permanent role, $170,000 - $200,000 + Super

About our Client
As a well-established and privately owned WA civil contractor, our client has developed a strong portfolio of projects across blue-chip mining clients with an annual revenue of circa $100M p.a

With the business going through a strategic growth phase, our client is seeking an experienced and autonomous Senior Civil Estimator* to price civil packages up to $30m alongside the existing estimating team.

*Project Engineers/ Project Managers with previous estimating experience seeking to move into estimating are welcome to apply.

About the Opportunity
Skills and attributes required in this role include;

• Tertiary Qualified, extensive contractor-side background
• Minimum of 7 years local (Australian) civil estimating experience
• First principles estimating on civil tenders over $10m in the mining sector
• Broad experience across bulk earthworks, pipework, drainage and roads
• Ability to identify risk and opportunities within tenders, analyse and offer alternative designs based on past site experience
• Previous exposure to RTIO, BHP, FMG, Roy Hill/ Hanroy projects highly advantageous
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and stakeholders
