Safety Advisor - Civil Construction

About the Company As a well-established civil contractor with a broad range of clients within the public and private sector, they have evolved into a major force in the metro civil construction sector. With strong relationships with various clients, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Safety Advisor to work across regional road upgrade projects on a DIDO/ FIFO basis. 

About the Opportunities With multiple contracts recently awarded, you will be reporting into the Project Manager, with your primary responsibility being to provide HSEQ advice and support to project teams ensuring compliance, risk awareness, training, incident investigations and continuous improvement.   

About You To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Minimum Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety;
  • Over 3 years’ experience working in a similar role;
  • MUST have experience working on roadwork projects and demonstrate knowledge of the plant and equipment typically used.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
