About our Client + the Role
As a growing mid-tier contractor with ISO 9001 accreditation and a strong portfolio of ongoing works in the road surfacing sector, they have created a brand-new head-office role in the business for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support the project teams near Jandakot (SOR). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the quality management systems as the business continues to expand. This will be in a project support function as opposed to a site-based project-specific role. You will be office-based 90% of the time, with adhoc site visits.

About You
We are specifically looking for a highly motivated and ambitious QA Engineer that have experience in AU/NZ roadworks, and intimate understanding of state and federal quality specifications.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following;

• Tertiary Qualified
• Minimum 5 years' experience on road projects with active exposure to road surfacing works including asphalt/ spray seal works
• Must have strong technical understanding of Quality Requirements to Main Roads standards (Austroads/ MRWA highly advantageous)
• Will have previous experience in a similar position, and experience in developing Quality Management Systems.
• You will be working closely with the senior management team and external stakeholders so you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships across all facets of the business.
• This is a Perth-based role, non-Perth applicants will be expected to be able to commence a new role in Perth within 4-5 weeks from acceptance.
• You MUST have valid working rights for Australia to be shortlisted for this position.
