About the Organisation
As a highly successful award-winning, and dynamic civil contractor with a national footprint, our client has been awarded multiple projects in WA and are actively seeking to hire now.

As a result, we are seeking a motivated Project Engineer with extensive marine construction works (marine structures and/ or dredging works)

This is a secure and long-term opportunity with a solid pipeline of work into the future and you will be employed on a permanent contract with market leading salary package.

About You:
  • Degree Qualified (Civil/ Structural or Construction Management)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the civil construction industry
  • Experience in marine piling, heavy lifting and temporary works is highly advantageous.
  • Possess a high level of organisation to ensure project milestones are met
  • Sound project scheduling, cost control, and reporting capabilities
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and stakeholders
  • Willing to commit to ongoing FIFO rosters, your point of hire can be any major Australian city. 
  • Rosters will vary from 2&1 to 3&1 for Australian-based projects, and offshore rosters for work outside of Australia - to be discussed at interview stage.
  • Note; you will be required to have full working rights for AU/NZ in order to apply for this position.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor project – progress vs budget from both a financial and progress perspective with anomalies raised with Project Manager on a daily basis.
  • Perform site inspections to assist with monitoring of progress and productivity
  • Provide all necessary assistance to the Project Supervisors/Managers.
  • Complete and submit accurate and succinct progress claims in a timely manner.
  • Monitor daily site documentation including supervisor reports, day work sheets, pre-start notes, staff time sheets and other paperwork as it is raised.
  • Ensure regular communication of project performance against objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships and communication links with key stakeholders.

Salary:
Range for this role will be subject to experience, but will range from $120k - $160k + Super + healthy project uplift and LAHA.
