As a busy consultancy specialising servicing the mining and resources sector in Australia and abroad through the full project lifecycle from inception right through to closeout, our client has experienced a strong growth in project awards and are currently seeking to add high-calibre planning resources to their technically strong team based out of the Perth CBD.
About the Opportunities
With opportunities to work on long-term secondment into major client-side organisations, you will be Perth based and involved in both mine studies and project planning as part of the owner's teams.

About the Opportunities
With opportunities to work on long-term secondment into major client-side organisations, you will be Perth based and involved in both mine studies and project planning as part of the owner's teams.
Typical Responsibilities
- Developing integrated Program Schedules
- Provide schedule management guidance and support to the project managers, including in the development of the work breakdown structure and in identifying program dependencies, schedule risk and issues.
- Work collaboratively with the project management team and the PMO manager ensuring scheduling best practice including completeness, accuracy and consistency in schedule development and management
- Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports Gantt, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, priority-based resource allocations, and to support cost/schedule integration to ensure on time delivery
- Supporting Agile teams in the tracking and reporting of progress, rolling up to Program/Portfolio level reporting
- Ensure transparency in reporting and all communications, strong stakeholder management and supporting the implementation of rigorous program management and control disciplines will enable you to meet the client's expectations and deliver a first quality service.
- Work with other senior PMO and program professionals to provide your insights and collaborate with others to deliver a high-quality solution.
About You
In order to be shortlisted for this opportunity, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualified - Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying etc
- Minimum 5+ years industry experience preferably within mining/ resources
- Will be able to demonstrate good tenure in past employment
- Proficency in Primavera P6 software specifically.
- Accurate and complex reporting capabilities
- Solid analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A proven ability to work as part of a team
