Mechanical Project Engineer - WTP/ WWTP

  • $120k - $140k + Super + Vehicle

About our Client
With a strong reputation within the WA utility sector, and long-term relationships with major clients such as SEQ, Watercorp, Private mining companies as clients, our client have been awarded multiple new projects that will see the upgrade to existing pump stations, WTP and other water treatment projects primarily in the Perth metro, with the occasional regional projects.
  
About You
You will be a motivated, and dynamic mechanical engineer with a strong delivery record within the WTP/ WWTP sector and a strong understanding of Australian Standards. Exposure to Water Corporation projects will be highlay advantageous.

Working with the Construction Manager and Site Supervisor, you will plan and sequence construction activities, track costs, manage subcontractors, interface with the delivery team, whilst adhering to company safety policies and procedures.

Skills & Attributes Required
  
  • Mechanical Engineering Qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience in WTP, WWTP or Pump Stations
  • Exposure to Design & Construct projects advantageous
  • Possess a high level of organisation to ensure project milestones are met
  • Sound project scheduling, cost control, and reporting capabilities
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and stakeholders
  • Whilst majority of works are metro area, may be required to work on some regional projects from time to time.
