About the Organisation
As a highly successful, reputable and dynamic tier 1 contractor with a national footprint, our client has been awarded a major $200M materials handling project in the Pilbara region. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Coordinator/ Mechanical Project Engineer with a strong background in conveyors and materials handling projects.
Please note, this is a Perth (CBD) based role whilst you close out the mechanical and materials handling package in the office, at which point the role will become a FIFO role which will attract a 30% uplift to your salary as you support the commissioning phase of the project.

About You:
- Degree Qualified – Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' SMP experience within the Australian mining/ infrastructure sector with specific experience in materials handling/ conveyor-led processing facilities
- Possess a high level of organisation to ensure project milestones are met
- Sound project scheduling, cost control, and reporting capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and stakeholders
- Must be willing to work on a FIFO roster (roster TBC) as the project enters the commissioning phase (note, you will not be expected to lead the commissioning works, rather play a supporting role).
