Electrical Project Engineer – Rail Systems
Our client, a reputable Engineering Contractor, is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer with a strong background in rail systems for a high-profile 2-year rail infrastructure project in Perth in excess of $200m.
The Electrical Engineer will work with complex systems, designing, developing, and integrating them at every stage of the Project life cycle. You will work amongst some of the best professionals in the industry and be involved in an exciting and multidisciplined infrastructure project that will form a critical component of Perth's transport infrastructure.

Our client, a reputable Engineering Contractor, is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer with a strong background in rail systems for a high-profile 2-year rail infrastructure project in Perth in excess of $200m.
The Electrical Engineer will work with complex systems, designing, developing, and integrating them at every stage of the Project life cycle. You will work amongst some of the best professionals in the industry and be involved in an exciting and multidisciplined infrastructure project that will form a critical component of Perth's transport infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with Managers and Superintendents on Engineering, works, scheduling, and status of the project
- Undertake all Quality Assurance and Control requirements
- Update and manage the overall construction program and document register
- Prepare, coordinate and closeout RFIs or Technical Queries
- Achieve engineering targets and objectives as defined in the project program
- Provide all necessary support to the Design, procurement, construction and commissioning teams
- Monitor external design consultants to ensure that the elements of their design (including verification) are coordinated with overall design, procurement and construction requirements
- Electrical Engineering Background
- 2- 3 years project engineering experience within Rail Systems with exposure to Traction Power, HV, LV Distribution, communication and monitoring systems (BAS, DAS, IMS etc)
- Ability support both rail and building electrical services project wide.
