Commercial Manager - Infrastructure

About Our Client
As an established international and award-winning major EPC contractor with a diverse portfolio of works including major transport, energy, water/ wastewater with award-winning project history, they have been awarded another major WA infrastructure project to boost their WA order book.

We are seeking an experienced Contracts/ Commercial Manager with demonstrated experience on large-scale projects over $100M in value. 

Essential Criteria for selection:
  • University Degree in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • 15+ years industry experience, working with large tier 2 or tier 1 contractor organisations.
  • Able to demonstrate a successful portfolio of projects within public infrastructure, civil construction and/ or mine infrastructure works <$100M
  • Ability to proactively influence and educate engineers and supervisors in commercial best practices.
  • Ability to understand the likelihood and consequence of risk events in a construction project context in order to prioritise risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse contractual/legal issues and provide solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.
  • Sound commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and inter-relationship skills.
  • Good communication skills for the development of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
