About Our Client & Role
As an ASX-Listed junior miner making the transition into the mid-tier level, our clients is embarking on an exciting journey to become a global leader in the industrial minerals sector. With a huge multi-faceted construction programme, we are seeking a civil engineer with extensive mining, heavy industry, resources, or large-scale civil infrastructure experience to provide civil engineering support, oversee the day-to-day performance of onsite civil contractors, and ensure works are delivered in accordance with the approved Scope of Work, quality standards, and operational requirements.
Skills & Attributes required:
- Degree Qualified (Civil/ Structural or Equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years' relevant Australian experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering civil works against a defined Scope of Work, including verifying contractor performance, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements.
- Experience working with or supporting civil contractors on earthworks, roads, drainage, embankments, or similar civil infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, survey information, and quality documentation.
- Strong understanding of field construction processes and basic QA/QC requirements.
- Advantageous: Registered Professional Engineer (NER) or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), or working towards professional registration.
- Advantageous: Exposure to surveying and interpretation of survey data (as-built surveys, pond levels, embankment geometry).
- MUST have valid working rights for Australia, and reside in Perth
- MUST be able to commence within 2 weeks of an offer (subject to negotiation)

With a great lifestyle roster (4 days on site, 3 days at home), this is an opportunity to represent the client on key civil packages with attractive daily rates of pay ($850 - $1,100), which will be commensurate with your experience.
Note, this is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, and subject to progress and performance, may yield a further extension in time.
