Civil Contracts Administrator /Quantity Surveyor (FIFO Hybrid)

- $140k-$150k + Super+ 30% Uplift
About our Client
With the business going from strength to strength, and new projects awarded, an exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Contracts Administrator with experience in heavy civil projects, and experience in the WA mining services sector, to work on a hybrid* FIFO opportunity.
*hybrid refers to a FIFO role whereby a percentage of your 5 day working week is spent on site in the Pilbara, with weekends home and to yourself.
About the Opportunity
With a client base expanding across several blue-chip clients, our client is committed to building a technically strong commercial team that is able to facilitate and cope with this growth, and looking after the overall business by introducing an astute Contracts Administrator to manage the commercial function on these projects, and beyond
Skills and attributes required in this role include;
Aside from the attributes above, we are seeking a well-rounded personality who has the capability to deal confidently with clients directly at times, build solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and have a proactive attitude that will help you assimilate to the company culture.
Expected salary is $140,000 - $150,000 + Super + 30% uplift, all commensurate with your experience.
Please note, you MUST have valid working rights AND extensive civil construction background in the mining sector to be selected for this opportunity.

Skills and attributes required in this role include;
- Tertiary Qualified (Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering etc))
- Minimum of 5 years local (Australian) experience
- Broad civil contracting experience across mine infrastructure including bulk earthworks, drainage, road works etc.
- Ability to prepare and manage subcontract progress payment claims, variations to subcontractors, contractual claims and final accounts etc
- Ability to prepare monthly site and project-wide financial reports
- Able to manage the implementation of strategies, process and systems for the commercial activities on the project.
- Have the flexibility to be remotely based on site (in the Pilbara) for up to 4 days a week.
